Team Awards

The 2011 Susan G. Komen Chicagoland Race for the Cure® is all about TEAMS! Our Race teams HAVE changed history—the history of breast cancer—by helping the Komen Chicagoland Affiliate Race for the Cure reach record-breaking levels of Race participation and fundraising. Thank you to all the great teams that participated in the 2010 Race!

The Following categories will be awarded for their incredible contribution and success being a team at this year’s races. Your team captain and team name will be mentioned on race day. A member form our committee will contact all team captains on Thursday (9/22) to let the teams that will be receiving awards with follow up instructions. Please ensure you and your teams are in the Team Tailgate area pre-race to get a photo taken prior to 7:30am.

Below are the following awards which will be totaled on Wednesday 9/21 at 11:59pm. All teams are encouraged to continue fundraising till 10/31/11 to meet your goals!

• Largest Fundraising Family/Friends Team for each Race - Team Biller for a Cure Now!
• Largest Fundraising Community Team for each Race - Northwestern University Sailing Team
• Largest Fundraising School Team for each Race - Chamberlain College of Nursing
• Largest Team for each Race - Chamberlain College of Nursing
• Pretty in Pink Team - for the team with the largest number of breast cancer survivors - American Airlines - Chicago

LOMBARD:

• Largest Fundraising Family/Friends Team for each Race - Proud 2 B Pink
• Largest Fundraising Community Team for each Race - The Choral-aires Chorus
• Largest Fundraising School Team for each Race - Chamberlain College of Nursing
