Get Involved

We depend on a variety of events and initiatives to raise funds to support our mission of saving lives and ending breast cancer forever. Our signature event is the Komen Chicago Race for the Cure® that occurred on Mother's Day, May 12, 2013 honoring former First Lady Maggie Daley. We also host the Impact Awards Luncheon each spring to recognize outstanding volunteers, community and corporate partners as well as award all of the funds that we raise throughout the year to deserving organizations. The public can also support Komen Chicago through events like Rally for the Cure, Passionately Pink and other initiatives.
