The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series is the largest series of 5K run/fitness walks in the world. Here are some of the ways you can participate in our Komen Chicagoland Race for the Cure series in Chicago and Lombard.
Register to walk with us, we offer a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk.
Register for our 5K (10K also offered in Chicago only) timed run.
Sleep In for the Cure
Just because you can’t make it to the Mother's Day Race for the Cure in Chicago doesn’t mean you can’t make a difference. Choose to Snooze!
Start a team or joining an existing one. For more information about our Teams programs, click here.
Focus on Survivors
Whether you register to walk or run or sleep in, if you indicate that you are a breast cancer survivor during registration you will receive a pink survivor t-shirt, along with your race t-shirt. There will also be Survivor Recognition Programs generously sponsored by Zeta Tau Alpha, including our Survivor Parade. To learn more about our event day survivor activities, click here.
Take your participation in the Race to the next level. Registration fees get us to the start line, but your fundraising helps to save lives and fund research.
Volunteers are an integral part of the Komen Organization. The Race for the Cure would not be possible without the help of hundreds of committed volunteers. Join an amazing group of individuals that dedicate their time, talent and energy to our great cause.
