Komen Race for the Cure

Chicagoland Race for the Cure Events

Saturday, September 22, 2012 – Bulter Field, Chicago, IL

Sunday, September 23, 2012 – Yorktown Center, Lombard, IL

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series is the largest series of 5K run/fitness walks in the world. Here are some of the ways you can participate in our 2012 Chicagoland events!

Walk

Register to walk with us.

Run

Register for our timed run.

Sleep In for the Cure

Just because you can’t make it to one of the Race for the Cure events doesn’t mean you can’t make a difference.  Choose to Snooze!

Teams

Register to walk or run (or sleep in) by starting a team or joining an existing one.

Focus on Survivors

Whether you register to walk or run or sleep in, if you indicate that you are a breast cancer survivor during registration you will receive a pink survivor t-shirt, along with your race t-shirt. There will also be Survivor Recognition Programs generously sponsored by Zeta Tau Alpha at both our events.

Fundraise

Take your participation in the Race to the next level. Registration fees get us to the start line, but your fundraising helps to save lives and fund research.

Volunteer

Volunteers are an integral part of the Komen Organization. The Race for the Cure would not be possible without the help of hundreds of committed volunteers. Join an amazing group of individuals that dedicate their time, talent and energy to our great cause.
